Tomasz Szymański is holding the position of the Member of the Management Board – Chief Financial Officer in Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o. (BOP). He has been appointed by PKN ORLEN SA and as of 17 November 2014 he is replacing Jacek Podgórski.
Tomasz Szymański has many years of experience in higher management positions in the field of finance. He started his professional career in 1995 with a global auditing and consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 2008, he has worked in ORLEN Group. In the years 2009-2012 Tomasz Szymański was a Board Member of Unipetrol RPA on behalf of PKN ORLEN SA. Before becoming Finance Director and a Management Board Member of Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o., he held the function of Director of business controlling in petrochemical segment and Director of Development Office at PKN ORLEN SA. Since 2009 he was a Supervisory Board Member of Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o. Tomasz Szymański is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics.
The other members of the Management Board of BOP remain unchanged and are as follows: Thomas Srnka – President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer; Piotr Żehaluk – Member of the Management Board and Operational Director and Päivi Helena Huovinen – Member of the Management Board and Sales Director.
