Laurent Hautier from LyondellBasell has been named by Basell Europe Holdings B.V. as President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o. (‘BOP’/ ‘Company’). As of 26 February 2019, he is replacing Joseph Tanner, who has headed up BOP since June 2015.
‘BOP is one of the largest and most modern polyolefin sites in Europe. I am looking forward to working along with the Management Board and employees of BOP. We will be strengthening the Company’s position for the benefit of its shareholders, communities, and customers,’ said Laurent Hautier.
Laurent Hautier has 30 years of experience with LyondellBasell. Before he joined BOP, he was the Managing Director of Lyondell Chimie SAS and Site Manager for Fos Sur Mer, France. Laurent Hautier brings extensive international experience in Leadership and Manufacturing operations, having held management roles in the past in UK; France and Italy. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC) in Nancy, France. Laurent Hautier comes from France.
The other Members of the Management Board of BOP are: Radosław Majczak – Operations Director, Jaap Rabou – Sales Director and Tomasz Szymański – Chief Financial Officer.
